Kyle
Magrin began his Racing Career at the age of 12 racing go karts. In 2002 Kyle
started racing go karts at the Hamilton Karting club. He won numerous amounts of feature
races. He went on to win the Junior Sportsman "Rookie of the
year" and 1st place seasonal points championship. Kyle went on to do the same winning
a championship the following year. In 2005 Kyle Magrin got offered a ride in a mini stock
to race at Flamboro Speedway. In just his 3rd week of racing at Flamboro Kyle was running
near the back of a consi race on the last lap coming out of turn 4 Kyle got put into the
wall and wrecked the race car. Over the weekend on the Sunday after the wreck Ron Larkin
jr. had found a Mustang Mini stock that a friend of his Billy Dredge owned. Kyle and Dave
Magrin went and looked at the race car. With the sponsorship help of Ron Hollis and Big
Boyz Racing Tzz Kyle was able to purchase the race car and race the next weekend. Kyle
took the Mustang asphalt Mini stock to try to Qualify at the Art Hill memorial race for
$1,000 to win $100 to start. Kyle came up short getting in an early wreck in the consi
race and wrecked the front end of the car. The Mustang Mini Stock was being turned
into a dirt car for the 2006 Ohsweken Speedway season with the help of Glen linen and his
pit crew putting together the car for the 2006 season. Kyle Magrin had 13 top 20 Finishes,
4 top 10 finishes, 2 (DNQ) and 14 top six Heat race or consi race Finishes. Kyle placed
16th place in his rookie season -1 point behind 15th place.
